Be aware...

Many of you don't know but I have a form of infertility. I'm by far one of the lucky ones and responded to treatment very quickly. Many are not and spend years struggling in silence. In honor of Infertility week I just wanted to let anyone who follows this blog to be mindful. Often times you might never know the women you are talking with is dealing with this. For a proud mom talking of her children is so natural but for the person with infertility hearing others gush can be very painful. Please be mindful of that...

No Halloween Party for Harmon

This was my baby on Monday...

This was my baby this morning!

I think he did this on purpose so he didn't have to wear this at the Halloween Party tomorrow!

But he is taking it with a smile in his oatmeal bath!

(Harmon had a cold 10 days ago... than he got an earache... now he has "3 day measles" which is basically Roseola. He should be fine in a few days, but no party for him!)

NMSU vs UTEP

Well since Chris was such a good sport going to the UT game and getting into the spirit I thought I would support him... well sort of... He went to NMSU for 2 yrs and so did his brother Josh, and SIL Melissa. So we all went to the annual "battle of the I10" but being an El Paso native I had to root for UTEP. They won, Dad Hakes read the history of the UTEP through the program, I lost, and we all had fun.

Fall Pictures...

I couldn't wait last year to have my baby and take fall pictures... so now that we have him I'm already taking some cute shots!

Harmon the Rock Star

So as some of ya'll know I am now working as marketing coordinator for Hakes Brothers. It is a great job b/c I can work and still have my son with me. So being the profesional marketing person I am I wanted to find the cutest little boy in the world to go sell homes for us. I found him and his name is Harmon :)

This will be the ad in tomorrow's news paper :) It is really small here b/c it is a 1/2 page ad. Sorry!
